The toothed strip is made out of stainless steel and specifically developed for a fast and steady application of thin joint mortar to the joints of chamfered BIA concrete blocks or elements. The front of the toothed strip is angled outwards. This puts pressure on the mortar at the toothed strip. This allows the mortar to better coordinate on the blocks or elements. The steady application of the mortar increases the quality of the wall. The mortar must be mixed according to the instructions on the thin joint mortar packaging. The distribution of mortar from the ELBO tools are adjusted to these instructions. The toothed strip Standard for chamfered BIA concrete blocks are available for a variety of wall thicknesses.
